KADUNA: Pathetic Images making the rounds show students sitting on the floor to write JSCE examination

Who would have thought that the very governor who spent almost all his tenure focusing on education, and spends billions on school feeding program, would not be ashamed to watch secondary school students sitting on a bare floor to write an important examination in the form of JSCE.

A disturbing photo of students at Government Secondary School Nassarawa, a settlement within the State capital Kaduna, has been making the rounds on social media for a couple of days and begging for attention which we felt it certainly does deserve.

It is a shame that in a world that is getting more and more sophisticated, advanced and progressive in area of education, Buhari's administration who budgeted over N20 trillion in the past 3 years, couldn't provide a befitting and conducive learning environment for its future manpower.

If Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State is indeed out to reposition the educational sector of the state, these latest images are begging for his attention and swift action.

This is 2018! Nigeria students deserve the best there is, if at all Buhari's government values education.
