Group endorses CAN President for second term


Ahead of the scheduled presidential election to elect a new Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) president which comes up this month, a Christian group has endorsed the incumbent president of the CAN, Supo Ayokunle, for a second term in office.

The Christian group noted that Ayokunle had done a lot in defense of the Christian faith and interest in Nigeria, adding that his contribution to the upliftment of Christianity and humanity in the country knows no denominational boundary.

Ayokunle was endorsed through a release in Nnewi, Anambra State, on Wednesday and signed by Alpha Justice, the National Director of Administration of the group, who is the general superintendent of the Bible Family Christian Assembly and editor in chief ‘The Bible Media’.

The group said that it was motivated to endorse the incumbent chairman for a second term in office on account of his purposeful leadership, integrity, transparency in his current tenure, adding that no other person could do it better right now than Ayokunle.
